One of the best ways to get exposure for your furniture painting business is to have a Facebook business page.
Not only will having this page gain your business worldwide exposure, it can be a very good retail source. Many furniture painters have found great success in selling pieces directly from their Facebook business page.
Setting up the page is a fairly simple process. You must have a personal profile set up on Facebook to get started.
LET'S GET STARTED:
From your Facebook profile page, click the Pages header in the left-side navigation.
Next, click the Create a Page button, and select the type of page--Local Business. (You not creating a group. This is a common mistakes many make at first.)
You will see a number of fields to fill out, such as your business category, name, and address. It's important to fill out these fields to direct people to your local business.
Name your page with your business name.
Upload a great cover photo that will "catch the eye" immediately. Many post a picture or collage of their favorite painted furniture piece or pieces.
Your profile picture can be a personal photo or your business logo if you have one.
Fill out the description and about sections to tell your visitors what you do.
You can even upload the "services" you offer in a special section.
There are many other sections you can utilize as you build your business. Post a slideshow, video's, shop section, etc.
Don't stress out about putting your page together. You can publish right away or get familiar with all of the sections and then publish it. It's always a work in progress and you can easily make changes as needed.
The potential of your business page is huge! It does take effort with regular posts but it's a wonderful way to showcase the pieces you paint. Share and link your page everywhere you are allowed!
